"The engineering problem solving methodology involves breaking up
large and difficult problems into a series of manageable incremental
steps.
In my teaching of both undergraduate and graduate level courses in
Mechanical Engineering at McMaster University, I use Mrs. Brankovsky's tennis
teaching methodology as a real life illustration of engineering problem
solving.
Starting with a wooden paddle to learn the fundamentals of the
stroke and then moving incrementally towards a standard tennis racquet allows
the students to master basic forehand and backhand.
Mrs. Brankovsky's tennis
teaching is a perfect example of engineering problem solving."

"Vlasta Brankovsky's Tennis Manual is an excellent resource for tennis players of any age and skill level. Inside, detailed step-by-step
instructions and illustrations are provided for both common and advanced strokes. Also found within are lists of common faults and corrections.
Mrs. Brankovsky shares her years of tennis expertise on every page with advice for tennis players. The accompanying video provides superb support
for the manual as well. Showing actual students practicing their tennis strokes against an indoor wall, the narration gives a complete explanation
of the technique required for each one.
Together, they are helpful learning tools and must-haves for anyone wishing to improve their game!"

" Just before his 7th birthday my sons aunt gave him a gift of a tennis paddle and lessonsfor Ms. Brankovsky tennis school. He had no tennis experince but by Christmas his forehand was noticeably better. The backhand was introduced after Christmas.
It was unbelieveble how well he held his paddle while playing forehand and backhand strokes with no ackwardness and lots of confidence.
Mrs. Brankovsky tennis method using the tennis paddle gives students like my son the skils needed. Thank you "

" Mrs. Brankovsky runs a back to basics tennis school where she puts a lot of
attention to a correct stroke.
Tennis is a technical game and without paying a
attention to the right technique you cannot get very far with the game.I
learned a lot from Mrs Brankovsky. I hope to get more valuable guidance from
her in the future.
Thank you Mrs Brankovsy for all your help.

" Ms. Vlasta Brankovsky has given my son, James, a good start with tennis.
Her method let James fet gradually get into the game, learn the very basic
tennis playing. It was a good investment for me to have James start with
Ms Brankovsky.
While watching James playing, I also shoved Ms Brankovsky my swing. She
pointed a few errors in my movement and showed me the correct ones.
I tried it and felt much more effective right away. "

" The Canadians should "award" you with recognition for introducing such great tennis methods when working with youngsters and beginning players. It is always very hard work to bring players up to a higher level of competency.Beginners of today do not practise against the wall, yet Kozeluch, Tilden, Federer progressed as players banging the ball against the wall.
I myself aquired good touch for tennis and consistency by drilling against the wall.
Tennis of today is not that different from tennis from my era; it is the tennis equipment, the racquets, that are better. But developing footwork, technique and strategy remains as necessary as before... Players
are hesitant to approach the net because their volleys
are not up to par. The one who masters volleys soon
reaches the rank of the top. "

Hi Mrs. Brankovsky,
I am so appreciative of the techniques you taughted me. Being able to hit a one-handed backhand properly is a rare skill I think. A can realy appreciate it everything now. My favorite tennis player is Roger Federer and I can see that he playes with exact same technique you taught us, and he does it so well...such a good example to follow, he is perfect and inspiring.

Mrs. Brankovsky has been a wonderful teacher. She has laid a lot of emphasis on teaching the right technique to play forehand and backhand. She pays attention to the smallest detail and corrects immediately. Playing with wooden racquet was a unique experience and helped my daughter get her fundamentals. She enjoyed her classes and is looking forward to tennis this summer.
Thank you, M.M. 2011
