Dr. Paul Mirkopoulos received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Mirkopoulos completed a one year dental residency at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was involved in many complicated oral surgery procedures and treated severely medically comprised and developmentally delayed patients. During his residency, Dr. Mirkopoulos also treated patients at The Baycrest Geriatric Centre. In addition Dr. Mirkopoulos was involved with the Ontario Dental Association's "Brush-A-Mania" program to educate young students about maintaining good oral health.

After the completion of his residency, Dr. Mirkopoulos was hired as an associate at the Adam Dental Clinic in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. There Dr. Mirkopoulos gained  vast experience in Cosmetic / Laser and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Mirkopoulos also practiced dentistry at The Stanton Territorial Hospital, providing dental treatment for young children under general anaesthesia. As well, Dr. Mirkopoulos was featured on CBC Radio North for an interview to promote a campaign in Northern Canada to explain the harmful effects from frequent consumption of carbonated beverages on young population. After almost two years in Yellowknife, Dr. Mirkopoulos returned to his hometown of Scarborough, Ontario where he has recently opened his own practice.

Dr. Mirkopoulos seeks to further his skills by participating in continuing education courses. Dr. Mirkopoulos is currently a member of: The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Ontario Dental Association, The Canadian Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
