Investor is company Windum, a member of the group Winterhur Schweiserische Versicherung-Gessellschaft and belonging to world-wide group Credit Suisse.

This building is situated next to the City Hall and origin dates back to 16^th Century, when it was a part of the Royal Building, and  the Emperor's temporary home in 1599. He lived in Pilsen during the black death epidemic in Prague.

The building was fully renovated to comply with the most up-to-date standards,while keeping its historic character. The full renovation extended for over a year.

The work was extraordinary difficult, since this area is off limit to any heavy trucks and equipment. The area is situated over the mediaeval catacomb city extending underground to 6 stories deep. Every work steps was done under the supervision of Historical Board and in strict compliance with their restoration’s requirements. Many things like guard rails, stairs had to be replicated in their original looks and materials
